MARC HENRY Neurotronik – Analog Acid ReworkSKYLINE ARCHIVE
Don’t panic: this somewhat different reinterpretation preserves the TB-303’s unmistakable tension. But Marc Henry stands for reduction, an analogue approach and physical impact, and that is exactly what he achieves here from the very first second.
He brings in the vocals from Neuro’s “Mama” as a functional element, as though they were another instrument. Together with open hi-hats and a dry kick, the track develops a tireless groove.
Too raw and uncompromising to be merely a club track, too energetic to be just an art experiment. Everything here sounds very mechanical, futuristic and metallic; at the same time, the acid sequence pulls you straight onto the dance floor.
The focus is on a hypnotic beat rather than build-ups and climaxes. It feels wonderfully nostalgic and fresh at the same time.

PREMIERE · LES YEUX ORANGE
Södermalm’s Theme (Acid Obbe Mix)
On 9 October 2026, Les Yeux Orange premiered JD Fairlight’s “Södermalm’s Theme (Acid Obbe Mix)”.
Stockholm: a city becomes a soundscape.
With STOCKHOLM, JD Fairlight creates a personal journey through the places, memories and atmospheres of the Swedish capital. Twelve tracks form a single narrative, each with its own identity while belonging to a larger whole.
Precise rhythms, floating melodies, analogue textures and urban landscapes shape cinematic electronic music, balancing introspection and movement. Rather than describing Stockholm literally, the music evokes the energy and emotions associated with its different places.
Mastered by Streaky, the album is conceived as a journey to be heard from beginning to end. With “Södermalm’s Theme (Acid Obbe Mix)”, Les Yeux Orange reveal another stage of that journey.

Thank you to Les Yeux Orange for this spotlight and for giving JD Fairlight’s music a platform.
